How to type the letter Ø If you don't have the character Ø on your keyboard it's a little bit tricky to type Øredev. If you can’t leave your suitcase at the hotel, we will find a solution... Charge your mobile We’ll find a socket for you, bring your charger. Parking There is a paid parking close to the venue. It’s located under “Garnisonen huset” and the entrance is Banérgatan 30. The parking is easily paid with coins or credit card. 150 Sek per day. Internet There is a Wi-Fi network available at the venue. What should I bring for the tutorials? You should bring a laptop. If you don’t have one, you can book one when you register. We will provide you paper and pen to take notes. Participants are advised to take out their own personal insurance. Language The official language of the event is English. Passports and visas Participants are advised to make their own arrangements with respect to entering Sweden. The participants who need an invitation -in order to get a visa- will get it after payment of the event fee. Climate Stockholm average temperature in August is +20ºC. Time zone The time zone in Stockholm is GMT + 1 hour. Daylight Saving Time is used during the summer (end of March - end of October). Electricity The electrical current in Sweden is 220V/50 Hz. Round, european style two-pin plugs are used. Appliances designed to operate in 110/120 V need a voltage converter and a plug adapter. Banks and post offices Banks are open between 09.30 and 15.00 weekdays. Some banks are open to 17.00. Currency The official currency in Sweden is Swedish Krona (SEK). Currency rates can be reviewed on www.xe.comexternal link. Shopping On weekdays, shops are generally open between 9.00 am and 6.00 pm, on Saturdays between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm. Some department stores stay open until 8.00 pm daily.
